The Kremlin Embankment is a new sight in Kazan. It's a well-designed embankment that goes from the Kremlin walls until the Kazan Culture Center.
The total length of the embankment is more than 2 km. The embankment is divided into a footpath and a path for bicycles, roller skates and longboards. The nice view of the Kremlin, the Kazan Chasha, and Agriculturalists' Palace generates a warm and quiet atmosphere.
During the summer you can rent bicycles, scooters, roller skates and longboards there. For sport lovers, there is a gym equipped with the newest and most popular machines.
During the winter the embankment transforms into a mythical town with Father Frost and elves, and the longest artificial skate rink in Europe. Skate rental is available.
Those who prefer to rest in silence can have some good coffee and try the diverse cuisines in the restaurants Love Story, La Famiglia, MIO, and Bakhcha.
Sometimes there are other events held: handmade item markets, sports competitions, dance master classes, children parades, and more.
