Kazan Victory Park was officially opened in 2002 in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It covers an area of 50 hectares. 1,418 trees and shrubs were planted here in accordance with the number of days in the war. In the park around the Eternal Flame, there is a pantheon built with many marble nameplates with the engravings of the names of the fallen Kazan citizens from the war. Not far away, there is a 42 meter-high stele named Victory, the foot of which is glorified with a sculpture of a mother with a baby and a warrior protector with a sword.
There is a large outdoor museum located in the park that exhibits the old military equipment: tanks, airplanes, and dive bombers manufactured at Kazan factories at the time of war.
The picturesque lake, where wild ducks swim, occupies a considerable part of the territory.
