Sightseeing
Gorkinsko-Ometyevskiy Forest
Having been opened in 2016, this is one of the youngest parks in Kazan. Its creation was a joint effort of locals who submitted their suggestions and shared their visions for the future of the park.
The main entrance to the park is located on the side of Pobeda Prospekt. For children from 2 to 15 years of age, the park features a two-level eco playground. In winter the park is filled with skiers – usually training athletes, however for the beginners and hobbyists there is a ski field with coaching areas near the park entrance. Inside the ski field complex you can store your belongings in the locker rooms, take a shower after a day of skiing or warm up at the cafe. In addition, the park also has a festival area that is open throughout the year featuring a dry fountain stage and a children’s environmental learning centre.
