The Karim Tinchurin Theatre is a recognizable building positioned in a prominent place on Gorky Street. The theatre was founded in 1933 based on the initiative of the outstanding Tatar playwright Karim Tinchurin. The basis of the repertoire from the day of foundation, and to this day are performances of plays by Tatar playwrights - all in Tatar language. All performances are accompanied by an oral translation of course, just be sure to ask for a pair of headphones.
